about pollen

hi. i'm keith, and pollen is my playground.

i wanted a place to build things on the atmosphere — the open social network that includes bluesky and a growing constellation of independent apps. so i made one. pollen is a microblogging platform where you can post images, gifs, polls, todo lists, chat posts, and all sorts of weird formats that don't have a home elsewhere.

it's open to anyone with an atmosphere account — and if you don't have one yet, you can create one right here on our account server. your data lives on your account, not on pollen. you own it, you can take it anywhere.

this is a one-person project, built for fun, and i plan to keep it running for the long term. no venture capital, no growth metrics, no algorithm. just a small garden on the internet.
